GLB is read as metres, Y-up and converted automatically — leave these at mm / Z for GLB. Changes apply on the next load.

Walls & hollowing solid

Hollow to a shell Wall thickness (mm) Open bottom

Off = parts are saved solid and your slicer sets perimeters and infill (usual for FDM — 3–4 walls, 15–20 % infill is plenty for a base this thick). On = the tile is saved as a shell of this wall thickness: far less material, for pouring filler, resin / SLS, or when the slicer must see a true shell. Adds a few seconds per tile; the outer surface is untouched.

Dowel holes on cut faces off

Add holes Pin diameter (mm) Depth each side (mm) Height above base (mm) Spacing along seam (mm)

Holes are only placed where both sides are solid. Not needed if you glue with PU.

View & print simulation

Filament Wireframe overlay Bed grid (mm) minor / major Layer height (mm) Perimeters (walls) Line width (mm) Infill (%) Print speed, walls / infill (mm/s) Max flow (mm³/s, 0 = no cap) Layer overhead (s) Solid bottom layers Sim speed (layers / s)

Each layer is sliced from the real tile: the head traces the perimeters at the line width, then straight infill at the chosen density, alternating 45° per layer. A preview of the slicer's work, not its output. The time estimate samples these settings across the real slices and ignores acceleration and cooling — expect ±30 %.

Repaired source

The loaded model re-exported as one closed solid: welded, zero-area triangles dropped, base on z = 0, at the size shown above.

Why this works when other splitters don't: tiles are cut with Manifold booleans, so cut faces are always closed — then every tile is independently audited and the volumes must add up before you can download. Source (MIT)
